These are gluten-free and high protein... You won’t believe these are made with chickpeas! Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients:
1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup of almond or peanut butter (or any other nut butter of your choice)
1 block of melted dark chocolate (we recommend our 75% or 60% Bennetto Dark)
1 tablespoon of coconut oil (optional)
For Coating:
Melted chocolate (cool the chocolate right down or follow our home tempering method)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Start by draining and rinsing one can of chickpeas.
2️⃣ Melt the dark chocolate using a double broiler on the stovetop, or microwave if you prefer.
3️⃣ In a food processor or blender, combine the chickpeas, nut butter, and melted chocolate. Blend until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
4️⃣ Using a scoop, place the batter onto a baking sheet lined with paper.
5️⃣ While the truffles are chilling, melt additional dark chocolate for dipping.
7️⃣ coat them generously with the melted chocolate. Place them back on the baking sheet and return to the fridge to set completely.
8️⃣ That’s it! Once fully set, remove the truffles from the fridge and store them in the cupboard for up to 7 days.
